Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground chicken
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • Zest and juice of 2 fresh tangerines
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, panko breadcrumbs, egg, tangerine zest and juice, garlic, and ginger until combined.
  3. Form mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and tangerine juice in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly.
  6. Toss baked meatballs in the glaze until coated. Serve warm.
