- 1 lb lean ground chicken
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- Zest and juice of 2 fresh tangerines
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, panko breadcrumbs, egg, tangerine zest and juice, garlic, and ginger until combined.
- Form mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and tangerine juice in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbly.
- Toss baked meatballs in the glaze until coated. Serve warm.
