  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and pumpkin puree until creamy.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger; gently fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. If using chocolate chips, fold them into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean but slightly moist.
