  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup Halloween sprinkles
  • 2 tsp black gel food coloring
  • 2 tsp green gel food coloring
  • 12 ghostly candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven as per the cake mix instructions. Grease two round cake pans.
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package directions and pour evenly into the pans. Bake until a toothpick comes out clean (about 30 minutes). Let cool completely.
  3. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sifted powdered sugar and whipped cream until light and fluffy.
  4. Once cakes are cooled, slice each in half horizontally. Layer one half on a platter, spread a layer of cream filling, and repeat with remaining layers.
  5. Tint leftover whipped cream with food coloring for decoration; pipe onto the top layer. Decorate with sprinkles and candy eyes.
