  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Wash and slice the peaches into thin wedges; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

  5. Gently fold in half of the peach slices into the batter.
