  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 8 oz fresh egg noodles
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper; let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat; melt butter and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds), then add soy sauce.
  4. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and save a little pasta water.
  5. Toss cooked noodles into the skillet with garlic sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Slice rested steak against the grain and serve over noodles, garnished with green onions.
