- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine pitted cherries with sugar, lemon juice, and a bit of flour. Set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press two-thirds of the crumble mixture into the prepared pan. Pour the cherry filling evenly over this layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
