  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss halved cherries with 1/4 cup sugar and a sprinkle of flour until well coated.
  3. In another bowl, mix remaining flour, oats, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Cut in softened butter until crumbly.
  4. Spread half of the crumble mixture in a greased baking dish. Layer the cherry filling on top and cover with the remaining crumble.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Cool slightly before slicing into bars.
