  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 medium flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup fresh salsa
  • Cooking oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat until fully cooked; drain any excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water according to package instructions; mix well.
  4. Stir in cheese until melted, then add fresh salsa. Remove from heat.
  5. Spoon filling onto one side of each tortilla and roll tightly while tucking in the sides.
  6. Place seams down on a greased baking sheet and lightly brush tops with oil.
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing and serve with additional dips.
