  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually stir in milk and melted butter until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead: Turn the dough onto a floured surface; knead gently for about five minutes until smooth.
  3. Roll Out: Flatten the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  4. Add Filling: Spread melted butter over the dough and sprinkle generously with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Top with shredded carrots.
  5. Roll Up: Starting from one long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log shape and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  6. Bake & Frost: Place rolls in a greased baking dish; let rise until doubled (about 30 minutes). Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Frost with cream cheese frosting once cooled slightly.
