Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb large shrimp (16–20 count), deveined
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc recommended)
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 8 oz spaghetti (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients: peel and devein shrimp, mince garlic, and chop parsley.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt half of the butter until shimmering. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet with salt and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque, flipping halfway through.
- Pour in white wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any bits stuck at the bottom. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Stir in lemon juice and remaining butter until melted into a luscious sauce.
- Remove from heat and mix in chopped parsley. Serve over pasta or with crusty bread to enjoy every drop of sauce.
