Instructions

  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Divide the batter between pans and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow cakes to cool in pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
