- 7 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa, chopped)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs (fresh)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and sugar. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the mixture into a tart pan evenly across the bottom and up the sides. Bake for 15 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until just boiling. Pour over chopped chocolate and let sit for 5 minutes; stir until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the ganache; mix well.
- Pour the ganache into the cooled crust and smooth out. Bake for another 20-25 minutes until the center is slightly jiggly.
