Description

Beef Stroganoff Alain Ducasse Style is a luxurious, creamy dish featuring tender beef and earthy mushrooms, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy family dinner.

Ingredients

  • Beef Tenderloin
  • Fresh Mushrooms (cremini or button)
  • Yellow Onions
  • Garlic
  • Sour Cream
  • Beef Broth
  • White Wine
  • Flour
  • Butter and Oil
  • Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the beef tenderloin against the grain. Chop onions, mince garlic, and slice mushrooms.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter with oil over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent (about 5 minutes), then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until browned (approximately 7 minutes).
  4. Push vegetables aside and sear beef slices until browned on all sides (3-4 minutes).
  5. Pour in white wine to deglaze the pan, scraping up any flavorful bits. Reduce by half (around 3 minutes) and stir in beef broth.
  6. Sprinkle flour while stirring continuously to avoid lumps; reduce heat to low and simmer until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  7. Remove from heat, stir in sour cream, and season with salt and pepper before serving.
