  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or rice flour for gluten-free)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Juice of 2 fresh lemons
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by gathering all ingredients and tools.
  2. Pat flounder fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge fillets in flour, shaking off any excess.
  4. In a large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the flounder fillets without crowding the pan.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy, then remove from skillet.
  6. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Stir in lemon juice.
