  • 1 cup diced celery
  • ½ cup chopped green onions
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slider buns (whole wheat recommended)
  • Fresh lettuce and tomato slices for garnish
  • 1 tsp dried dill

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let cool.
  2. Shred the cooked chicken using two forks.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, dill, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  4. Gently fold in shredded chicken, diced celery, and chopped green onions until well combined.
  5. Slice slider buns in half horizontally. Spoon chicken salad onto each bun base and top with lettuce and tomato slices.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for about an hour before serving.
