  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping bell peppers and mincing garlic and ginger.
  2. In a large pan over medium heat, cook the ground turkey until browned and crumbly.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger; stir in bell peppers and broccoli until tender (about 3–5 minutes).
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and grated ginger. Pour over cooked turkey mixture.
  5. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
