  • 1 packet onion soup mix (1 oz)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1 packet gravy mix (prepared as per package instructions)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts, then season both sides with poultry seasoning.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken in a single layer in the slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, mix together onion soup mix and chicken broth; pour this over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, remove chicken and whisk cornstarch with cold water until smooth. Stir into remaining liquid to thicken.
