- Divide batter in half; fold strawberry puree into one half gently.
- Pour chocolate batter into one pan, vanilla into another, and strawberry into the last. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
- Layer as follows: chocolate layer first with frosting on top, followed by vanilla layer with more frosting, then strawberry on top. Frost the entire cake generously.
