- 12 egg roll wrappers
- 1 knob fresh ginger (about 1 inch)
- 4 green onions
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Cooking oil for frying (as needed)
- Sriracha (optional)
Instructions
- Chop chicken into small pieces. In a bowl, mix with minced ginger, garlic powder, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken mixture until no longer pink (5-7 minutes).
- Stir in shredded cabbage and chopped green onions; sauté until tender yet crunchy.
- Place about two tablespoons of filling in the center of an egg roll wrapper. Fold up the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry egg rolls in batches until golden brown (3-4 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
